Bhavnagar’s Chirag wins U-17, U-19 qualifying ties
Gandhidham, May 2: Local lad Chirag Dhabhi put up an impressive show as he registered victories in the boys’ U-17 and U-19 qualifying rounds of the Microsign 1st Gujarat State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2024 which is conducted from May 2 to 5 at the SAG Sports Complex, Sidsar in Bhavnagar.
The season-opener tournament is organised by Bhavnagar District Table Tennis Association under the aegis of Gujarat State Table Tennis Association (GSTTA) and the title is sponsored by Microsign Products and the tournament is supported by Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG).
Chirag posted straight-games win over city mate Jayveer Chavda in the U-17 event while he took care of Gandhinagar’s Aditya Brahmabhatt in yet another three straight games victory in the U-19 event.
