• Entries will close Five days before date of the draw for the State Ranking Tournaments.
• Draws will be held at the G.S.V.T.T.C. Office or any other place as decided by G.V.T.T.C., date and time as decided by the committee.
• Only Schedules will be available on the G.S.T.T.A. website one day after the Draw. Draw for the tournament will NOT BE DISPLAYED on the website.

♦  EVENTS:

– State Ranking Tournaments will include the following mandatory singles events in Men’s and Women’s :
39 +, 49 +, 59 +, 64 +, 69 +, 74 + and above.

(Note: There should be minimum 6(six) entries for a singles event to take place. And if there are less than six entries players shall have to mandatorily play in the lower age group and pay the entry fees for that respective age group event).

− State Ranking Tournaments can include the following optional events in Men’s Doubles:
39 +, 49 +, 59 + & 64+; Women’s Doubles 39 + &  49 + and Mixed Doubles 39 +,  49 + & 59+.

(Note: There should be minimum 6(six) entries for an doubles/mixed doubles event to take place. And if there are less than six entries players shall have to mandatorily play in the lower age group and pay the entry fees for that respective age group event).

♦  ELIGIBILTY:

Following is the age limit for different age groups (Yr.2023)

♦  EVENT RESTRICTIONS: All the players are allowed to play in their respective age groups only in the same calendar year.

♦  SCHEDULING : All the singles & doubles events will start on the first day and the remaining matches will be played on the second day.

NOTE: The above mentioned scheduling method may be changed depending on the no. of entries, no. of tables and no. of days.

♦  PLAYING CONDITIONS:

• All State Ranking Tournaments will be played on minimum 4 tables and will have the duration of minimum 2 days.
• The flooring of the playing hall must be wooden or synthetic mat.
• The intensity of the light must be 600 lux on playing surface and 400 lux in the remaining playing area.
• Comfortable playing area should be provided.
• The tournament hall shall be handed over to the Chief Referee by the Organizing Committee with complete set up on the pre-tournament evening.
• ITTF approved 40+ Seamless Plastic balls will be used for the entire Tournament period.

♦  FEES:

• The annual registration fee of G.V.T.T.C. shall be Rs. 150 per player.
• Entry fee for the State Ranking Tournament will be Rs. 400/- for each individual singles event per player.
• The tournament fees to be paid by organizer to G.V.T.T.C. shall be Rs. 5000/- for the State Ranking Tournament.
• Entry fee for Doubles event will be Rs. 700/- per pair.

♦  PLAYING SYSTEM:

• The Tournament will be played according to the current laws, Rules and Regulations of TTFI.
• All rounds of all events will be played best of 5 games.
• In any situation, regarding the interpretation of laws & rules, the decision of the Chief Referee will be final and binding to all.

♦  OTHERS:

• The entry form mentioning the Tournament Dates, Venue, Events, Last date of entries, Draw date will be circulated to all District Associations and State Veteran Table Tennis Committee members.
• A copy of the entry form should be send to the Referee of the tournament.
• The Chief Referee and the Assistant Referee will be appointed by the State Veteran Table Tennis Committee for all State Ranking and State Championships. Their lodging, boarding, travelling and the tournament allowances will be borne by the host/organizer as per the norms set by G.V.T.T.C.
• The concerned Referee will be responsible for providing the copy of complete results of the tournament to the G.V.T.T.C..

♦  T.A.& D.A. OF TECHNICAL OFFICIALS:

The tournament host will pay to and fro 3 A.C. class railway fares to the Chief Referee and sleeper class railway fare to Asst. Chief Referee and umpires. The host/organizer will pay the Technical officials Honorarium as per the following chart:

a) Chief Referee  :   Rs. 3000 lumpsum
b) Deputy /Joint Referee: Rs. 2000 lumpsum
c) Table Umpire    : Rs. 650/day
d) Computer Operator & Asst. : Rs. 700/day

♦  SELECTION CRITERIA:

Total points of State Ranking Tournaments.

♦  POINTS CHART :

Total points earned by a player in a calendar year will form the basis for selection to play the team event in National Table Tennis Championships, however the points shall not be the sole criteria for selection and the final decision will rest with the GSVTTC Members.

1. It is mandatory for all participants to be fully vaccinated. They must carry Final Vaccination Certificate at the Venue.
2. It is mandatory to show RT-PCR Negative report for participants those who are not full vaccinated.
3. Arogya Setu App must have been installed.
4. All players must carry Sanitiser, extra mask, tissue paper, plastic/polythene to keep used tissue paper
