Local boys Jaynil, Dev to lead charge as second state TT meet begins in Rajkot today

Gandhidham, June 4, 24: Men’s third seed Jaynil Mehta will look to take home advantage as the Second Gujarat state Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2024 is set to be organised by the Rajkot District Table Tennis Association (RDTTA) under the aegis of Gujarat State Table Tennis Association from June 5 to 8 at SNK School in Rajkot.

The tournament, which is supported by Western Railway Mazdoor Sangh, has received 650 entries. Expectations will be high from Dev Bhatt of Rajkot in the cadet boys’ event.

“First state ranking tournament’s men’s winner Chitrax Bhatt, Radhapriya Goel, Oishiki Joardar and Frenaz Chipia are the other top paddlers who will be in action in Rajkot meet,” informed honorary secretary, RDTTA, Hiren Mehta.
