Malav wins fourth boys U-15 title of the season

Surat, 09 September: Ahmedabad’s prolific paddler Malav Panchal crushed his city-mate Abhilaksh Patel 3-0 to lay his hands o the boys U-15 title of the Tapti Valley International School 7th Gujarat State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2023 organized by Table Tennis Association of Surat District under the aegis of Gujarat State Table Tennis Association from September 8 to 10 at Tapti Valley International School, Surat.

With this victory, the 13-year-old Malav bagged his fourth title of the season.

Meanwhile, creating a major flutter, unseeded Sujal Kukadia of Bhavnagar upset third seed Janmayjay Patel of Aravali in the boys U-17 pre-quarterfinals to progress to the quarterfinals.

Another unseeded paddler, Jalay Mehta of Vadodara, came back from a game down to get the better of the second seed Chitrax Bhatt of Ahmedabad in the men’s pre-quarterfinal.
