Bhavnagar July, 14: Top Seed Malav Panchal enters in the Sub Junior Boys Final on the 2nd Day of the Microsign 4th Gujarat State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2023 held at SAG Sports Complex organized by Bhavnagar District Table Tennis Association under the aegis of Gujarat State Table Tennis Association from 13th to 16th July, 2023. In his road to final Malav defeated 5th Seed Samarth Shekhawat of Surat in Semifinals 3-1 (6-11,11-8,11-4,11-4) but the day belonged to Seventh Seed Abhilaksh Patel as he created flutter of Major Upsets by defeating Third Seed Pawan Kumar of Surat in the Semifinals 3-0 (11-2,11-6,11-8) and local lad Second Seed Sujal Kukadia of Bhavnagar 3-1 (12-10,11-4,10-12,11-3) in Quarter Finals.
