GSTTA to get benefit from SAG MoU
Gandhidham, April 5 : Aligning with sports policy of Gujarat, the Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG) has turned the golden leaf in the sporting history of the state after it signed MoU with various state sports associations of Gujarat in MoU Signing ceremony in presence of Minister of Sports Shri Harsh Sanghvi, Sports secretary Shri Ashwini Kumar (IAS) and SAG secretary Shri Rushin Bhatt (Gujarat Administrative Service) in Gandhinagar on Wednesday.
Gujarat State Table Tennis Association (GSTTA) was one of the associations which exchanged the signed MoU with SAG.
GSTTA secretary Kushal Sangtani, along with GSTTA treasurer Rujul Patel and Krutesh Thakkar were present in the glittering ceremony.
GSTTA, which has been getting support from SAG in the past, will get greater benefits out of this initiative.
GSTTA secretary Kushal Sangtani, after exchanging MoU with Shri Bhatt, said that SAG has been extending support to GSTTA since a long time but this MoU will help us plan future events too.
“We have submitted our plan of action for next two years and we will get financial and infrastructural support from SAG for all of this. All thanks to the honourable Sports Minister and SAG, we now aim to scale up our TT activities in a big way and produce more international-level paddlers from the state,” Sangtani said.
